Ayodhya Ram Temple consecration on January 22 2024:
The Ayodhya Ram Temple, consecrated on January 22, has seen a substantial influx of devotees, with over 25 lakh visitors making donations exceeding 11 crores. In the 11 days since its public opening, ₹8 crores were contributed through donation boxes, while 3.5 crores came in through cheques and online payments.

The temple features four donation boxes along the darshan path, and digital donations are facilitated by 10 computerized counters. The meticulous counting process, conducted by a team under CCTV surveillance, includes 11 bank employees and three temple trust workers. With the anticipation of increased devotees as the weather improves, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is prioritizing their safety, while non-stop flight services connecting Ayodhya to eight cities have been inaugurated. The second phase of the temple is expected to be completed by December 2025.
